The new Advanced Carbon frame and Advanced SL Composite fork together save 200 grams compared to the previous generation. The updated geometry includes a lower bottom bracket, a longer reach, and a steeper head tube angle for better acceleration and climbing characteristics.
The new frame features a lower seatstay transition and smaller diameter tubing to absorb road shock and vibration. The SLR D-Fuse carbon handlebar and D-Fuse Seatpost work as a system to optimize compliance without sacrificing stiffness when cornering, sprinting, or climbing.
The wheelbase can be adjusted with a flip-chip on the rear dropout: short for more agile handling or long for more stability on rough roads and gravel. The long setting allows the use of tires up to 53mm wide. You can choose the included D-Fuse Seatpost for maximum compliance, or upgrade to a 30.9mm round or dropper post.
